Recruitment is on the rise as well: the chapter is 148 strong aer initiating 43 new members this past fall, followed by eight new members this spring. On-campus involvement has increased, too, with several brothers accepting new responsibilities at Auburn! Colin Rigor '24 and Vincent Indovina '24 were selected as Camp War Eagle counselors, and this summer, they will aid and instruct incoming freshman during orientations. Meanwhile, Will Tarter '24 and Richmond Maddox '22 will serve Auburn's Interfraternity Council as director of new member education and director of public relations, respectively. In January, the chapter partnered with Auburn's Project Upli to host a philanthropic basketball tournament. We raised over $1,000 in support of Project Upli and local children in need. We've had several events and parties throughout the spring, but our top focus, of course, was Derby Days. is year's Derby Days, held from April 3-9, was special, as it was the first in-person Derby Days we will have hosted in over 10 years! We set a $35,000 donation goal for the chapter in support AMBITION AND INTEGRITY Brothers Demonstrate Sigma Chi Values on Campus of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. We are beyond thankful for the support of students, local businesses, and you, our alumni, in making Derby Days so impactful this year! Alumni involvement is important to the chapter, and we extend an open invitation to all alumni who would like to take part in our festivities. We hope to see you soon! As a chapter, we are thankful for the year we have had and cannot wait for what the next has in store.
