SIGMA SIGMA SIGMA | PAGE 2 THROUGH THEIR EYES – MIGHTY CHI TODAY MEMBERSHIP ACHIEVEMENTS Lauryn Macy '19 CHAPTER PRESIDENT What does being a Tri Sigma mean to you? "It means having the privilege of being part of something so much larger than myself. Creating irreplaceable bonds, serving others, using our passions to accomplish beautiful things, having opportunities of leadership, networking, growth, joy, and so much more!" Why should alumnae support Chi now? "Chi is so much more than a house. You're not just donating toward expenses for any ordinary house, but to build a house that changes girls' lives and experiences. It is a home away from home—a safe place for all members." Madeline Murdock '20 MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT DIRECTOR What are you most excited for with a new chapter house? "I am most excited to be able to gather all of our sisters together and really make it our 'Sigma Headquarters.' Whether it be meetings, events, or even just group bonding time, a new house would be a perfect location for us to spend time together to make our chapter the best it can be!" In your opinion, why is a new chapter house important to the future of Chi? "I think a new chapter house would give all our members even more of an opportunity to spend time together. While I absolutely love the homey feel of our current house, it can be a tight squeeze when we all get together. A new house would provide us with a great opportunity to spend quality time with our sisters in our home away from home." Rylee McElroy '20 VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS What has been your favorite Tri Sigma memory? "My favorite memory so far has been recruitment. As stressful as it may be, it's where I've met some of my closest friends, and it was a huge moment of growth for me and the chapter." Why should alumnae support Chi now? "Tri Sigma has done great things on campus at Pittsburg State, and we continue to recruit amazing women. Being able to provide a house for our chapter to grow and excel is necessary!"
