Happy Retailing,
W
ell, K/BIS 2022 is over, and planning has already started for
next year in Las Vegas. Vegas is a glorious town full of fun, food
and frolicking. Did you go to KBIS this year? You can read more
about the show on page 8 of this issue. If you didn't go, then buddy, you
missed it. What about the show, you ask? Well, let me give you a little
insight. If you didn't go, let me repeat…then buddy, you missed it.
Voices of the Industry had over 84 sessions this year from various
experts of the industry. The KBISNeXT Stage hosted over 20 presentation
and panel discussions and 4 awards programs. More than 60+ of the
industry's leading experts participated, the Best of KBIS awards were
announced here, and some great networking was available.
I spoke with many people from all walks of the industry and this is a very
brief summation of what they said:
"This was one of the best shows we have ever had for K/BIS. The
people that showed up were ready to discuss business, we were able to
give them more time and because of it, we have gotten some outstanding
leads from Atlanta. Many of these exhibitors have already re-upped for
Vegas 2023." — Manufacturers and Reps
"As a kitchen designer, it's critical to attend KBIS if you want to stay
on top of new introductions in appliances, fixtures, hardware, stone
materials and more!" — Attendees
Next year will be even bigger. In a boon for members of the design,
construction, and home improvement industry, three of the leading trade
shows will take place at the same time in 2023, furthering the offering of
what attendees can see next year. The National Hardware Show, IBS and
KBIS at Design & Construction Week® will be held in Las Vegas.
All in all, this was a great event for those who attended, and Vegas (my
hometown) is a city that hosts one of the best show venues in the country.
See you next year at KBIS 2023 in Las Vegas, January 31–February 2.
You won't want to miss it.
