Their mission is to improve the lives of pets and their owners through education, promotion of spaying and neutering as well as assisting abandoned, abused and neglected animals throughout Northwest Arkansas. "There used to be a Doxie relay up in Bella Vista," Michael continued. "They haven't been able to do it for the past two years because of covid. We thought it would be a great idea to pick it up in Siloam Springs for the Dogwood Festival, have a fun event and help get the word out on our organization and the important work we do." The festival plans to add the fun-filled Doxie Relay to the Dogwood Festival as an annual event in the already jam-packed family weekend. "We will have up to 100 dachshunds running in these relays," Lindsey added. "And I can't wait to see the joy that comes to all those that attend!"
