Liam B. and Regan B. of Harrison
spend their days with their beloved
Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, Murtagh,
who they lovingly call "Mur." Mur is
two years old and became a part of the
family when Liam and Regan's mom
was scrolling through Facebook and
came across the Cove Creek Alapahas
in Newton County. As soon as she saw
Mur's face, it was love at first sight!
Once they met, the feeling was mutual
and Mur became an instant part of the
family, and is happy to be anywhere
they are.
Mur is working on being Insta-
famous, thanks in part to Regan who
loves taking pictures of him and then
posts them to his very own Instagram
account, @its_the_mur, and her favorite
pictures to take are the ones of the
family Halloween costumes. When Mur
wants to take a snooze from picture-
taking, he finds Liam, who is his best
napping buddy. Liam is also the one in
the family who can coax Mur into his
least favorite activity…bath time.
Mur spends his days with
Regan, Liam, and the rest
of the family, going on
hikes in the Ozark
Mountains, cheering
on the Hogs,
playing tug, and
soaking up all the
hugs and kisses
he can. "From
beaches to baseball
parks, we want Mur
to be wherever we
are!" Liam and Regan
say. Mur loves playing with
his toys and always grabs one
to show anyone that comes into the
room. "Our family hopes everyone can
experience a pet that is as loyal and
loving as our Mur."
