"Movie: Beans" Mohawk documentarian Tracey Deer ("Mohawk Girls") made her feature directorial debut with this this 2020 Canadian drama that chronicles the 78-day standoff between two Mohawk communities and government forces in Quebec in 1990. Kiawentiio, Violah Beauvais, Rainbow Dickerson, Joel Montgrand and Paulina Alexis head the largely indigenous Canadian cast. "Movie: Homestay" From Japan comes this fantasy drama about Shiro (Kento Nagao), who is informed that he has died and will be given another chance at life in the body of a teen who has recently committed suicide. He's then given 100 days to solve the mystery behind his death, otherwise his life will come to a permanent end. (ORIGINAL) "Murderville" This six-episode procedural crime comedy offers up a unique premise: Detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) is joined by a celebrity guest star each episode to solve a murder. The catch is the guest isn't given a script and the pair have no idea what is about to happen but they'll have to improvise their way through the case in order to catch the killer. (ORIGINAL) The STREAM Scene Where all the top choices can be found in one place! "Free Guy" (Feb. 23) Shawn Levy's pandemic-delayed, sweetly funny 2021 action comedy scored a substantial success when it eventually hit theaters, charming many critics as well. Ryan Reynolds stars in the title role of Guy, a mild-mannered bank teller who discovers quite belatedly that he's actually a non-player character (NPC) in a massive online video game. Jodie Comer, Utkarsh Ambudkar (TV's "Ghosts") and Taika Waititi co-star. Page 8 February 21 - 27, 2022 InFocus "The Thing About Pam" (NBC — series premiere, March 8) Renee Zellweger makes her network television debut in the title role of this new limited series, on which she also serves as an executive producer. The story chronicles the true-crime saga of Betsy Faria's (Katy Mixon, "American Housewife") brutal 2011 murder, a crime for which her husband, Russ (Glenn Fleshler), initially was convicted. That conviction eventually was overturned, however, as a chain of events exposed a diabolical scheme involving a criminal, Pam Hupp (Zellweger).
