This amazing group of women ran home to Tri Delta Hills after a fantastic week of recruitment. Some of our beautiful seniors after preference round during fall recruitment 2021. A group of Tri Deltas at our '80s-themed date dash in October at a vintage bowling alley. W e are so proud of the recent academic success of our members. Our spring 2021 cumulative GPA was a 3.46, and our overall GPA is 3.47. This semester, we had three members receive scholarships, including Soleil Rucker '19, who received $1,000. We also had 43 women get 4.0s last spring, while 85% of our women had above a 3.0 semester GPA. Overall, Theta Omega is maintaining our academic status at KU. There is room to improve, of course, but our women are working hard in many challenging majors. We have incorporated "Delta Smarty of the Week" along with our "Academic Member of the Month" program to honor our women on a regular basis for their weekly and monthly achievements. The women who achieved 4.0s last semester received triangle earrings and were honored at a scholarship brunch for their hard work. This past school year, Theta Omega raised $58,324 for philanthropy! This year, our goal is to beat that number. Our three main fundraising events are Sincerely Yours, 10K in a Day and Delta Diner. We sent out our Sincerely Yours letters this fall, and I am so proud of our chapter's motivation and love for St. Jude. Our members are as eager as ever to continue their fundraising efforts. We are always striving to do our part to help Tri Delta reach its $60 million pledge to St. Jude this year! We've been very fortunate to plan three events this year so far. We had a very fun '80s-themed bowling party to welcome the new members after initiation as well as our traditional Old Maid and Semiformal events. All of our members were finally able to meet and interact with each other after prior COVID restrictions made this complicated, so it was very fulfilling to see everyone come together. I'm thrilled to plan events for next semester, including Cupid's Crush and Formal. I can't wait to see what we come up with!
