Story details and cast information haven't been re- vealed yet, but each episode is done in a different sub- genre of horror. The overall creative goal of the series is to subvert family horror tropes by featuring everyday characters and diverse per- spectives, while tapping into common primal fears. 10:35 p.m. on HBO Somebody Somewhere Comic and singer Bridget Everett stars in this new sev- en-episode comedy series as Sam, who may look like a ge- neric Kansan to the untrained eye. The truth is very differ- ent, though: Sam feels like an alien to others in her home- town, especially since she's struggling with issues of loss and acceptance as the series opens. Singing is her refuge, an act that leads her on a journey to find herself, and a community of other outsiders who share her "otherness."
