Parents may enroll their child, birth to age fi ve, in the program to receive a free monthly, age-appropriate book from the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. • Friday, Dec 3: Symphony of Rutherford County Concert: 7:30pm, the Foundation Performing Arts Center; a variety of seasonal melodies including traditional favorites and some new selections. Christmas Parades: The Spindale and Rutherfordton Christmas parades will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4. The parade lines up in Spindale at 2pm on Elm Street and will begin the march along Main Street at 3:30pm. After passing through Spindale, the second line up will be on Southern Street in Rutherfordton and the parade down Main Street begins at 5pm. The 2021 Town of Ellenboro Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday December 5 at 3pm on Main Street in Ellenboro. The show is a drive-through from the safety of vehicles. Restaurants and shopping are also available for guests. • Santa on the Chimney: Santa Claus will make his annual climbs on Chimney Rock Saturday, Dec.4 and Saturday, Dec. 11 from 11am-2pm.
