Jones '52 entered Chapter Eternal on June 25, 2021. He was a beloved and treasured husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Post-graduate, he was a distinguished military student; then, he was a second lieutenant in the Army. After earning a Ph.D. in probability and statistics, he became a professor at the University of Michigan and Oregon State University. He loved going to Shakespearean festivals, traveling, attending concerts in the park, and visiting with his children and grandchildren. Donald will be missed dearly. Ray T. Schutter '65 entered Chapter Eternal on March 28, 2021, after living with the effects of a stroke for his last 6 1/2 years. During his studies as a chemical engineer, Ray honed a desire to travel and explore the world, all while raising his two children. He established a travel-business with his wife, Cecile, in Houston, Texas. They adventured, welcome four grandchildren, and gave back to the world on Rotary-sponsored missions. Ray's life mission was to enrich the lives of others and share of himself. He lives on through those whose lives he touched, and we are better for having known him and worse for having lost him.
