Beta Kappa charter members rent the first FIJI house at
1300 Broadway, on the corner of Broadway and Pleasant Street.
1912
Beta Kappa of Phi Gamma Delta is installed as a chapter on May 16.
Aer its installation, the chapter collected $3,500 from members
as a down payment on a vacant lot directly across from campus.
Construction at 1029 Broadway begins shortly thereaer.
1918
Members move into the newly built Beta Kappa house at 1029
Broadway.

The First 110 Years
W
ith more than 1,000 initiates, Beta Kappa
Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity
has influenced the lives of numerous men,
cultivating lasting friendships in the process. rough
FIJI, we not only learned the importance of friendship,
knowledge, service, morality, and excellence, but we
also acquired valuable assets, including leadership skills,
organizational skills, social skills, teamwork, and character.
For many, these traits have been integral to our personal
success and helped make us the men we are today.
