She now lives in Parker, Colo. She is a widow and can still hear her late husband saying, "Life is what happens when you've made other plans." She sends her best wishes to the Xi Chapter collegians. Email: mjromohr@windstream.net Barbara Ann Allen '52 was a counselor for 25 women at McKinney Job Corps Center in Texas; she gave that up to come back to Valley, Neb., to be a caregiver for her grandmother. She now lives in Lincoln, Neb. Willie Desch Shafer '53 shared that her greatest accomplishment was founding Willie's Underwear Project, a nonprofit that supplies clothing for 42,000 students in 75 schools in Lincoln. It's now in its 20th year and relies on community donations. Willie lives in Lincoln, Neb. Email: lshafter@neb.rr.com Marilyn Keyes Gordon '60 has traveled all over the world; her last trip was to Cuba. She volunteers at the hospital and translates for Fremont Public Schools. Marilyn and her husband, Charles, have eight grandchildren, two of whom attend UNL. Email: mkeyesgordon@gmail.com Candy Pettengill Bates '67 had a 30-year career in the financial industry as a senior vice president of human resources director. She then served as a substitute teacher with the Scottsdale Unified School District and is now retired. Candy lives in Phoenix, Ariz. Barb Robbie Elliott '67 and her husband, Jon, have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They have three daughters and five grandchildren. She has fond memories of getting her teaching degree, becoming the director of a preschool, and working at a playhouse and children's hospital. Barb lives in Omaha, Neb. She previously served on the Iota Chapter House Corporation Board at the University of Illinois and the Gamma Chapter House Corporation Board at Northwestern University. She lives in Lincoln, Neb. She sets her own relaxed schedule, often including her two grandchildren, Alumnae News which is rewarding to her and her husband, Kent. They live in Sun Prairie, Wis. Chris has reconnected with ΑΧΩ sisters in Omaha, California, and Arizona. She lives in Omaha, Neb. Nancy keeps in touch with many of her pledge sisters; this year, she traveled to Montana and Colorado to visit some of her closest sisters. She lives in West Des Moines, Iowa. Email: blnelson.durango@ gmail.com Barbara Ritter Ibach '84 and her husband, Todd, own and operate a family farm corporation, T&B Farms, in central Nebraska. She began her 11th year of teaching this fall. She is honored to have served Xi Chapter as financial and chapter advisor as well as a house corporation member. Kaspar Paprocki '90 stays connected with sisters through social media. She volunteers at her kids' schools and chairs committees to help with fundraising. She and her husband, Ritch, have been running their own business for 15 years— Dry Hero, a water damage and mold remediation company. They live in Walton, Neb. Nicole Sheets Henry '92 joined and served in the Peace Corps after graduating, went back to school to become a nurse, worked in the ICU for years, started a family, and was blessed with three children. Nicole enjoys visits with her sisters who live nearby. She lives in Cohasset, Mass., with her husband, Tyler. Since graduating from UNL, she graduated from Creighton's accelerated nursing program in 2000, had four sons, worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 13 years, and taught bible school.
