This year, our fall formal recruitment was held in a partially virtual and partially in-person format. We are so excited to welcome 68 new sisters into Xi. These women are a wonderful addition to the chapter and have already begun the promise program and our new member education process. Sigma Kappa is participating in continuous open recruitment this fall, so we are starting to welcome new sisters through that method as well. This past semester, Xi Chapter is proud to have raised our overall chapter GPA to a 3.48. We were also honored to receive three Sorority- Fraternity Life Awards. These awards require a lengthy application process as chapters compete with organizations in all four councils at KU. We want to congratulate Caren Brandenburg '82 for receiving the Outstanding Sorority Advisor Award, Addison Henson '18 for receiving the Outstanding Leader Award, and Megan Gunter '17 for receiving the Outstanding Senior Award. I also want to give a very special thank-you to our advisory and corporation boards for all that they do. We appreciate them always, but especially in these new and unprecedented times. As always, we hope alumnae stop by and visit Xi while they are in Lawrence!
