She reports that she is well in Lakewood, Colo.,
while waiting for surgery.
Kaye Meyer Ostermann '67 and her husband,
Alan, are enjoying life in Abilene, Kan., home
of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
His Presidential Library is a source of history,
culture, and entertainment as well as a provider
of an outdoor band shell for summer concerts, a
theater for plays and movies, and an auditorium
for meetings and lectures. Kaye wants to tell
her Sigma sisters that, "Sigma Kappa looks
awesome! Blessings to you all in recruitment

Sally Fleeson Rimer '68 recently reconnected
with Janet "Kippy" Kipfer Walker '67. She
says, "A person has no idea how it warms one's
heart to find a friend after all these years—it's
the true power of sisterhood." Sally lives in
Aurora, Colo., and has spent 50 years flying
with United Airlines, "Even though things are
different now, I still love it! I am so lucky." One
of Sally's hobbies is collecting miniature chairs,
which are mostly displayed on her dining room

Julianne Chaney Jarvis '72 retired from
accompanying four choirs at the local high
school, but she keeps busy playing for a church
choir, the college jazz band, and gigs with
various jazz combos. She and her husband,
Paul, love to travel and hang out with their kids

first grandchild, Alena, was born on August

Sarah Strief Bonefas '89 has been living in
Des Moines, Iowa, for the past 17 years and has
had the pleasure of reuniting with her pledge

Ciara Bujanos '06 lives in Aurora, Colo., and
has a great dog, Mona, to hike with and enjoy
the Colorado lifestyle. She just returned from
a two-week motorcycle ride through Croatia,

e are holding our annual meeting
on November 14 at 3 p.m. where
we will present our proposed bylaw
change. We are asking for your affirmative vote
on this proposal and on the slate of alumnae
being recommended to serve on the board.
Proposed bylaw change
Current language:
Sec. 2 Number
The number of the Alumnae Directors shall
be seven (7). Two members of the collegiate
chapter, being the President and Treasurer, shall
be voting members of the Board of Directors,
for nine (9) voting members of the Board of
Directors.
Add:
There shall be two non-voting members of the
Board, being the chapter House Manager and
the Advisory Board Liaison. Other than voting
privileges, the chapter House Manager and
Advisory Board Liaison shall have all other
rights of a Board of Director including
bringing and seconding a motion.

Diane Danley Sandidge '48 reports that she is
still here at age 92 and sends her best wishes to
