Tau Beta Hoot The Tau BeTa ChapTer of Chi omega aT oklahoma STaTe univerSiTy fall 2021 The E ach of us had the privilege of living in the Tau Beta house and experiencing the benefits of sisterhood in Chi Omega. For the next 100 years, more women will carry on the traditions of excellence that are the hallmark of Tau Beta. The young women who joined Chi Omega this year will live in the new house being built at 310 S. Monroe and will carry on the legacy we have created together. To reach our $6 million goal, however, we need to raise an additional $371,000. This will require each sister's immediate support. Because of your donations, all piers for the foundation have been installed and we are prepping to pour the foundation. Our next step is to pour basement walls and backfill dirt through October. Steel is expected to arrive in early November to begin structural work. FlintCo will continue to monitor lead times closely as construction crews work 10-hour days and on Saturdays (except game days) to get caught up. We have not had any weather delays since June—Hallelujah! Keep your fingers crossed for continued good weather through the fall. While our project plans move forward, we are reminded of just how thankful we are for the 514 people who have donated to our campaign efforts. We would not be where we are today without your support, but our work is not yet done. If you have already made a gift, please consider extending your commitment for an additional one to two years or making an additional one-time donation. If you have yet to donate to our campaign efforts, we encour- age you to think back to your time at the house and remember what gifts Tau Beta has given you. Everyone's support is essential to ensure we reach our $6 million goal. In the words of our Symphony, please "be loyal under any and all circumstances" by making a pledge to our Building for Our Next 100 Years at 310 S. Monroe capital campaign. Each gift—no matter the size—will make a difference.
