OMEGA CHAPTER Billie Webster Pitzer '59 entered Omega Chapter on April 5, 2021. Carrol McFerron Duffy '60 entered Omega Chapter on April 8, 2021. ALUMNAE NEWS Norma Wiggins Christy '44 is 96 years old and lives in Parsons, Kan. She drives herself to church, PEO, bridge club, and the beauty shop. Norma's husband, Merrill, passed away in 2019. She has three children, Steve, David, and Cynthia; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, who visit her often. Norma retired from teaching in 1987. She'd love to hear from her Tri Sig sisters. Email: normalchristy@gmail.com Linda Phipps Danenhauer '56 says, "My roommate and I brought Tri Sig back on campus in 1956!" She is retired and takes care of her husband, Eldon, who was Pittsburg's first AFL pro in 1960: "Foot dementia is not worth the game!" She retired from teaching in 1995, then worked for her church until 2017. Her son, Mike, is a former Joplin mayor, and her grandson is a university professor. She then worked at Kansas State University in the College of Education, supervising student teachers. Patricia lives in Manhattan, Kan., with her husband, Doug, and enjoys making jewelry. Email: dtippin@cox.net Amanda Vance Seglie '67 is a retired educator and moved to Atlanta, Ga., to be closer to her six-year-old grandson. "I am enjoying our adventures." She was widowed in 2014 and has two children, Amy and Glenda, and three grandchildren. She lives in Riverton, Kan., with her husband, Mike, and stays busy with their grandchildren. She and her husband, Rick, live in Ozark, Mo., and enjoy traveling and seeing their 11 grandchildren. Karen and her husband, Raylen, have three grown children and live in Melvern, Kan. They farm and have rentals. Skybound Helicopters is a tour and pilot training company in Kansas City. Laurie and Todd also have a daughter, Erinn Mendon Fischer '06. She and her husband, Michael, have two children, Karlie and Thomas, and live in Buffalo, Wyo. She is planning an October 2021 wedding and will have a 6-year-old stepson. She loves to travel and spend time outdoors.
