PAY IT FORWARD Because of the magnitude of this project, we are encouraging all alumni to seriously consider major gifts to the campaign. Pledges can be spread over a five-year period for our alumni to stretch their support. Gifts in honor or in memory of other SigEps or family members, as well as family gifts, are encouraged. Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Kansas Beta. How appropriate, then, that each of our names be entered into its halls. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque. All contributions of $1,000 or more will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. The IRS will allow tax-deductible dollars be spent on space in the Chapter House used exclusively for educational purposes Pledges of $25,000 or more will be eligible for tax deductibility. Due to these limitations, there is a great need for contributions that are not tax deductible. Pledges under $25,000 will be directed to the Kansas Beta House Corporation, will have direct benefits, and are greatly appreciated. We are honored to work with the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation to make this possible. There are several ways to participate, including check, credit card, and ACH payments, stock transfers, qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from IRAs, and potential company matching programs if the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation meets the standards of your employer.* The donor of appreciated, publicly traded securities will not ordinarily be subject to capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the gift. Please consult your tax advisor for potentially significant tax advantages. *If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be able to double your contribution to this project. Matching is only available for gifts to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation (if the Foundation meets the standards of your employer). Please include a matching gift form with the pledge form. The young men of Kansas Beta need consistent support and encouragement to reach their fullest potential. With the growth of remote experiences, we can facilitate alumni mentor or alumni volunteer positions from outside the greater Manhattan area. If you have the time and interest to serve as an alumni mentor or volunteer, please contact Dirk Daveline '87 at dirkdaveline@gmail.com for more info. GIFT STRUCTURE DONOR RECOGNITION TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS WAYS TO GIVE SERVE AS A MENTOR OR VOLUNTEER "As a fifth-generation Kansas Beta, I knew I wanted to be a SigEp, but I never knew the impact it would have on my life. I was able to make lifelong friends, get involved with the Fraternity as well as student government and IFC, and even stay connected after graduation. SigEp provides the guidance and support to help young men grow as leaders and prepare them for life after graduation. My goal is to stay involved and connected with Kansas Beta for as long as I can. This Fraternity has given us all memories and opportunities that we couldn't have had anywhere else, and now it's our turn to show our support and give back to a place that has already given us so much." - Lucas Renz '17, AVC member Giving Levels Circle of Distinction ($100,000 and above) Golden Heart Csircle ($75,000 to that are $99,999) Circle of Honor ($50,000 to $74,999) Brotherhood Circle ($25,000 to $49,999) Hoop of Steel ($10,000 to $24,999) Red Door Circility of ($5,000 to $9,999) Balanced Man Circle ($1,000 to $4,999) Kansas Beta Circle (Up to $999)
