Returning to Campus with Gratitude
Gamma Psi Looks Forward to Our New Normal
R
esilience, faith, brotherhood, support—all of these words describe the undying and
unrelenting will demonstrated by Gamma Psi Chapter. From the loss of our beloved
chapter counselor, Bob Cantrell '62, to the effects of COVID-19 on campus, the
Gamma Psi brothers have gone through a lot in the past year. Nevertheless, it is true that our
desire to leave a lasting positive mark on our campus has never been stronger.
There is no doubt that we are extremely excited to return to the regular fraternal activities that
once drew us in as new members on campus this fall. The alumni and actives will enjoy a
joint golf outing in September followed by an alumni tailgate on October 2. Additional activities
we are planning include a Parents Weekend, more philanthropic involvement, and increased
community outreach.
The energy in the air is palpable. With in-person recruitment this semester, we are extremely
excited to meet all the young men who are interested in developing their character with us.
During the past few semesters of virtual recruitment, we felt that we couldn't connect as well as
we have in the past with potential new members; we look forward to this return to form.
To that end, the actives of Gamma Psi are ecstatic and determined to continue the good work
and positive influence that we have developed over the years. As always, we give extreme
gratitude to the alumni, national partners, and parents who have supported us throughout our
time on campus. Thank you, and we will continue to make you proud.
