As of the July 26 Cleveland County School Board meeting, students and staff are not required to wear masks in the classroom. The school board voted to leave the option of wearing masks in schools up to the in- dividual. The board voted 6-3, with Robert Queen, Danny Blanton, Rodney Fitch, Phil- lip Glover, Ron Humphries, and Joel Shores in favor. Dena Green, Coleman Hunt and Greg Taylor cast the dissenting votes.
