BY JAY BOBBIN What do you think about the "Mystery 101" franchise now reaching its seventh installment with "Deadly History'? We've been very lucky to have this many episodes ... and even as a fan of the show, I'm curious about what happens next, even after this one. It's left with such a big cliffhanger, even more of one than the last time, this can't be the last one. It had better not be! While your "Mystery 101" character Amy Winslow is a college professor, she's also been credible as an amateur sleuth. Has it been a challenge to balance those aspects? In doing one of these mystery shows, I really wanted it to be believable that she would be an asset to Travis (the police detective played in the films by Kristoffer Polaha). Anybody who teaches a class, and especially one known as Mystery 101, means she probably knows as much or more than Travis about detective work just through reading and studying. She wouldn't be someone who just tagged along.
