The Gram- my-winning artist who attained fame as half of the duo Sugar- land had a limited run as Rox- ie Hart in the popular musical "Chicago" in 2015, and she acknowledged her stage work (and what she has said is her lifelong love of theater) by per- forming "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin"' from "Oklahoma!" on PBS' recent Fourth of July special. Also, her recently released album "Always Like New" draws from such stage classics as "My Fair Lady" and "Annie." Though she hasn't been back on the Great White Way regularly since her "Chicago" stint, Nettles has continued her acting pursuits.
