Jan Hales Strickland '06 is the owner of
Strickland Interior, located in north Louisiana.
She focuses on residential work and is on the
fourth St. Jude Dream Home, where she will be
the lead designer. The past three homes each sold
out of tickets, raising $750,000 toward St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital. Jan shares that
$2.25 million has been raised in total toward St.
Jude. She lives with her husband, Josh, and their
children, Jey and Evy, in Rayville, La. Email:

Samantha Walker Whorton '11 and her
husband, Wilson, welcomed their first child,
Mary Cooper, in May 2020. She has a very
proud Alpha Gam aunt, McKenzie Walker '18,
and many honorary AΓΔ aunts. Mary Cooper
and Samantha enjoyed visiting Kenz's house
and friends last fall. Samantha is an engineer at
Alabama Power Company and lives in Hoover,

Psi Chapter will be celebrating its 100th
anniversary in November. We have decided
to have a celebration on Saturday, November
13, at the Indian Hills Country Club in
Tuscaloosa with the band Chevy 6. Cocktails
will be served starting at 7 p.m., followed by
the band playing at 8 p.m. The cost is $50
per person and attendance is limited. Please
