ALPHA TAU OMEGA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI ★ SPRING 2021 I t is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Brother Drew King '20. Drew always had a smile on his face and made his brothers laugh. He was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to James "Jamie" and Robin Reisenbichler King. He was a loving brother to his sister, LenaMae King, and brother, the late Parker James King. Drew graduated from Jackson High School in 2018. He was a junior at Mizzou and an active ΑΤΩ. He was down-to-earth and made friends easily. Drew had a friendly and loving personality that was well received by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed and will live on in everyone's hearts here at Gamma Rho Chapter. Looking Ahead Gamma Rho Chapter Optimistic for a Return to Normal in the Fall B rothers, Gamma Rho Chapter survived a year of COVID-19 while keeping our active members and House Director healthy and safe. We had very few positive cases of COVID-19 in the Chapter House. All of us are looking forward to next fall and a return to normalcy at the University of Missouri and across the country. Despite being locked down for an entire year, our young men achieved a great deal of success. Grades have been stellar, with a fall 2020 Chapter GPA of 3.299 and a new member GPA of 3.262. Gamma Rho has had several hugely successful pledge classes and numerous brotherhood events. We expect the Tau Hut to be full next fall. Our active brothers are planning an alumni event for the fall as well as local events during the summer. We are especially proud of our young men for picking each other up after Drew King '20 passed away. The men of Alpha Tau Omega supported one another with the help of our great parents and House Director. Though this was a tragic event, the Chapter is now stronger together. Drew will be missed by all of us here at Gamma Rho. Brothers and f riends shared their favorite memories and funny moments they had with Drew. It was a wonderful celebration of his life.
