T he story of Mu Mu began in 1895, when our first brothers came together to promote the values of Friendship, Justice, and Learning at West Virginia University. A fixture on campus for decades, Sigma Chi has provided a quality fraternity experience: good academics, strong social scene, athletics, and a commitment to the mission of developing values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus, and community. Our active brothers in Morgantown strive for the ideals of our fraternity and deserve your assistance to ensure Mu Mu has a safe, competitive home where brothers are committed to living our values. While you probably have fond memories of living or socializing at 700 N. High Street, or 692 N. High Street before that, our beloved home has seen better days. e need for both core infrastructural improvements and cosmetic modernizations is significant and urgent. Fraternities today have more competition than ever. e house corporation and alumni leadership have developed an exciting and sound plan in partnership with Constantine Housing Initiative (CHI) to evaluate our needs and opportunities. Some details are known, some are still forthcoming. What we do know for sure is this is a crucial juncture for our chapter, and we urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan as we test the feasibility of a fundraising campaign and prepare for the future of Sigma Chi. "As the consul of Sigma Chi at West Virginia University, I am proud to be a part of something that lasts a lifetime. It has truly been an honor to work with such a passionate group of Mu Mu alumni, and their efforts are greatly appreciated. It pleases me to say that the dedication to Sigma Chi does not stop there; the chapter has worked tirelessly to repair the house, improve academic relations, and uphold the respectable culture that has been instilled here since 1895. As a senior, I can confidently say that the active brothers are a group the alumni would be proud of. Truthfully, there is no better group of men in the entire city of Morgantown. "To be consul during these times, with such a strong brotherhood, unmatched alumni support, and a celebration that is 125 years in the making, is truly an honor. ank you for allowing me to make friendships that will last a lifetime, and to be a leader in something that will last even longer.
