OUR HOME
Since we built our house in 1968 campus housing has changed significantly—especially within the last two
decades. Residential facilities are the second most important factor in the college decision-making
process behind the availability of a student's intended major. This is understandable considering that students
spend 70% of their time within their living environment.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS EXPECT MORE
PURSUING EXCELLENCE
Today's students and their parents have higher expectations for their housing dollars. With significant
investments being made to on-campus facilities, we have seen the need to mirror the university and other
fraternities by investing in our facility. We risk losing our competitive advantage if we don't improve what
we have to offer.
While classroom experience is critical, the development of friendships and social skills is even more
important for success in today's world. Rose-Hulman is as academically challenging as ever before, but
in many ways, our chapter house is potentially more impactful than any classroom. Along with our plan to
upgrade and provide new study spaces, we must also provide spaces for social interaction to set our members
apart from the average Rose-Hulman graduate.
"My experience with ATΩ Gamma Gamma was invaluable to me from a personal
and professional perspec ve. The bonds made with brothers will last a life me. The
leadership skills learned during the various posi ons held within the chapter were the
founda on of my professional career. As each alumnus reflects on his experience at
ATΩ, there is always a common theme—the house itself was the central loca on for
many of those memories. The house is s ll that today. This campaign is necessary
for ATΩ to remain compe ve on campus and these upgrades will help ensure the
chapter thrives for genera ons to come."
