This charming home had almost everything the clients desired. It
just needed an aesthetic upgrade and a little structural tweaking to
function properly for this family. A two-phased project was planned,
but the discovery of a kitchen leak moved the project ahead of
schedule. Removing a column that obstructed the kitchen and
dining space and reconfiguring the pantry and laundry room area
and reworking the entry from the garage opened the space. The
new space features a large island with refrigerator drawers and a
microwave, and a herringbone quartz backsplash for an elevated
elegance. The clients are thrilled with the result and enjoy living in
it every day.
