S ince 1882, Zeta Psi Chapter has been the heart of Greek life at the University of Cincinnati. e oldest continuously operating fraternity on our campus, we have been developing values- based leaders for not only the student body but also our home communities and the world. Recognized by Sigma Chi internationally as one of the top chapters and alumni groups, the Zeta Psi Chapter has influenced the lives of thousands of men and cultivated lasting friendships in the process. Our founder's vision, to be the preeminent leadership and character development organization benefiting our members throughout life, has held true for over 139 years. Even though our alumni have gone on to have successful careers in business, law, public service, medicine and many other endeavors, they remain rooted in friendship, justice and learning, those Great Aims of Sigma Chi. Many of us began to plant those seeds of success at the University of Cincinnati and most recently in our current home at 2617 University Court. Principle-driven leaders are needed now more than ever, and the Zeta Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi is uniquely positioned to help develop them. Our undergraduate UC Sig brothers continue to strive for the ideals of our fraternity, assisting brothers in becoming men of character, caring husbands, compassionate fathers and community leaders. However, if we are to continue this tradition of excellence, we must ensure we are providing a safe, modern and competitive facility. 139 Years of Zeta Psi Tradition & Counting Zeta Psi Chapter from 1919 e Cincinnatian Yearbook Group of Brothers from 1954 e Cincinnatian Yearbook Zeta Psi Brothers from 1988 e Cincinnatian 1 "In 1958, I arrived at UC with no intention of ever joining a fraternit y. On a walk to the Student Union, I passed 2900 Woodside place and saw a football fly over the hedge. I picked it up, tossed it back, and at that moment, my life changed forever. The Sigma Chi house would become my home for the next several years. The Sig house was the hub of activit y that centered on studies, civilit y, rituals, alumni gatherings, music, athletics, and the bonding of forever friends. The Sig house on Universit y has weathered many years and is in need of a face-lift. I implore each of you to join me in supporting the renovation and expansion that will carry our current and future Zeta Psi brothers well toward the next century." – Joe Friedl '63, Campaign Board Member
