Computing Academy.

do! Each camp session is guaranteed to

There are morning & afternoon sessions
every week from June 7 –July 23.
The camps will be happening at the
Fayetteville Public Library's new Center
for Innovation. This incredible facility
is the perfect place to gather some
STEAM, using powerful computers, 3D
printers and other awesome technology!
Or, you can attend the camps virtually
online. Either way, you're bound to learn
cool stuff and have a blast doing it!
"Wize Computing Academy is excited
to utilize this amazing STEAM space at
the Fayetteville Public Library to host our
summer camps this year," says franchise
owner Phil Shelhammer. "The addition
of the FPL Center for Innovation is an
amazing benefit for our community, and
we are excited to provide an opportunity
for our students to experience it through
our classes."

At Wize Academy they believe in
project-pased learning. That means they
make it fun!
"Everything we do starts with a
teaching lesson, and then the students
apply that lesson by building a unique
project," says Phil. He believes STEAM
education is needed right now,
particularly in elementary schools. "A
professor at the University of Arkansas
told me that research shows children
decide by the age of 10 whether they
enjoy or are good at math and science,
which means programs like ours are
desperately needed," Phil added.
