Marine Corps League Charity Golf Tournament Results The 15th annual Charity Golf Tournament was held at the Forest City Golf Course on Saturday, May 15th. This tournament, sponsored by the Marine Corps League's Chris S. Ebert Detachment 1221 raises funds for charitable causes in Rutherford County. There were eleven teams participating this year. First place was won by 'Team Epic,' consisting of: Brad Cummings, Charles Burgess, Drew Radford and Michael Steele. In second place were the 'Smokin O's,' with Jesse O'Dell, Tony Sadlowski, Brad Joyner and Brian Garner. Third place went to 'Hick's Hackers,' with Jamie Hicks, Phillip Cole, Tim Smith and Clint McLane.
