Jelisa Montalvo is adding her own
ingredients to a tried-and-true recipe
for success. Montalvo is owner of
Dorothy's Catering 2, a business
that is carrying on the legacy started
by her late grandmother, Dorothy
McEachern. Montalvo has updated
the business in delicious ways but
hasn't changed the downhome
kindness that has always been
important in her family. Montalvo,
her staff and her family have served
thousands of meals during hurricanes,
helped single mothers and families in
need throughout the year and have
served hot meals and bagged lunches
during the pandemic.
