Prairie Grove School District is a highly rated, public school district. Niche rates Prairie Grove 25th out of 239 school districts in Arkansas in three categories: Best Athletes, Safest and overall Best School District in Arkansas. District enrollment has increased from 1,990 in 2018 to 2,046 students in 2020 in grades pre-K through high school with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. e high school's average composite score on the ACT test continues to be above the state average, according to the annual report. For 2019-20, Prairie Grove's average ACT composite score was 19.4, compared to 18.5 for the state. Prairie Grove School District's goals for 2020-21 are: One, Have collaborative teams at all schools to increase the use of common formative assessments to differentiate instruction based on students' needs. Two, Finish the process of adopting the Arkansas Department of Education's reading campaign by completing the training and tenets of "Science of Reading" in the classroom. And three, increase student enrollment in higher level career training education courses based upon the school district's student graduation plan.
