OUR CHALLENGES AND NEEDS

ur Pi Phi home is the cornerstone of the Oklahoma Beta experience. With the generous
continued support of our alumnae for the last 100 years, our home has been a haven away from
home and a gathering place for alumnae and collegians alike. While the Chapter House Corporation
has worked diligently to be good stewards of our Chapter House, we must invest in updating the
infrastructure to maintain our beautiful home and bring us into the 21st Century.
OUR CHERISHED HOME
Our Pi Phi home is nearly 60 years old and it is showing its age. The bathrooms and kitchen need to
be updated. The plumbing and HVAC are in a need of a complete overhaul. Annually, our resources
have been used to temporarily remedy ongoing problems. As we have been creative with our funds in
meeting the needs of our collegians, the time has come to address the necessary infrastructure needs.
SAFETY AS A PRIORITY
In the event of severe weather, we need to ensure we have a space for our young women to be safe.
We know we must make this change to ensure we are not putting our collegiate sisters at risk. We will
be adding a safe room to accommodate our members during storms and emergencies.
CONTINUING OUR EXCELLENCE
Our collegians need an updated space to live and gather. We are striving to provide updated areas
such as the kitchen, lounge, suites and bathrooms as well as the curb appeal of the house in a way
that enables us to maximize our competitive edge.
