alpha chi omega | page 2 T he Alpha Nu experience is forever a part of our lives, and each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Alpha Nu. For many of us, who we are today is a direct result of an event that happened or a person who touched our lives while a collegiate member of Alpha Chi Omega. If the walls at 900 Richmond Ave. could talk, what stories they would tell. Love stories and soap operas. All-night gab-fests fueled by sharing secrets, making plans, exchanging dreams. Tales of clueless teenagers transforming into confident young women, full of hope, growing in the knowledge of who they want to be. Stories of strangers becoming lasting friends who stand the test of time. Over the weekend of April 22-24, 2022, we will celebrate Alpha Chi's establishment at the University of Missouri 100 years ago. All alumnae and their guests are welcome to be part of the festivities. For the women who formed lifetime friendships at Alpha Nu, the weekend will provide opportunities to add to their stories. For those who have lost their connection with the chapter, our centennial weekend represents an opportunity to re-engage. There will be a Saturday evening gala celebration. Activities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning are still in the planning stages. Proposed activities include: • House tours and interaction with current chapter members • Opportunity to donate supplies to the local domestic violence shelter supported by the chapter • Ample time for gathering by decade, new member class, graduation year and other smaller groups • Winery visit • After-parties • Alpha Chi and Alpha Nu centennial merchandise available for online purchase TIME TO COME HOME TO 900 RICHMOND AVENUE SAVE THE DATE: APRIL 22-24, 2022 Reserve your hotel room now!
