A SLICE OF PI Teri Jo Mauch '77 is a professor and division chief of pediatric nephrology at UNMC and Children's Hospital in Omaha, Neb. She's married to David Sweeney, DVM. Her daughter, Sarah, was a Pi Phi and is now a first-year medical student at UNMC. Her son, Sam, is a junior at UNL and a member of Pike. Teri Jo also has two dogs and is active in fiber arts and bicycling. She lives in Omaha, Neb. Email: aliaseoane@gmail.com Shelby Kruse '11 recently moved to Atlanta, Ga., after finishing residency in New York, N.Y., to start her career as an optometrist. She volunteers with Gamma Phi Beta as a collegiate chapter specialist working with chapters in Region 5. Email: shelbyakruse@gmail.com Claire Moore '15 shares that she and Seanna Block '15, Shelby Schelkopf '15, Tommy Waters '15, and Nicole Bakenhus '15 are pursuing postgraduate degrees in physician assistant studies, medical school, dental school, and speech language pathology. Claire is very proud of her sisters. She lives in Plattsmouth, Neb. She is moving to Omaha and just got a job as a night nurse on the postpartum unit at Bergan Mercy Hospital. Kennedy is very excited to start her career doing what she loves.
