Read Doug Peters the following testimonial from Fayette- ville local Julie Donahue. “Seven months ago I got handed a card at work and promptly put it in my purse. It was some Prescription Drug Card from the Chamber that I thought must come with tons of restrictions. I never thought another thing about it, until I got really sick. Knowing the RX for strep throat was going to be to the tune of $100.00 or more - I got out my Prescription Drug Card. ‘I’m Business ssSpotlightSpotlight The Chamber Annual Awards Banquet will be held a Chamber Member, we do discounts between members so let me check this out,’ I thought. The website was there on the card, once I looked online, I couldn’t believe the savings I could get! An RX fi lled at 1/3 of the cost of normal pricing, with or without health insurance. Not only do ALL the major pharmacies take this card, it is good for Non-Chamber Members as well. The savings online were incredible with certain prescriptions and I could immediately think of a few people who could utilize this card. This card would really benefi t the elderly, the military, the young family, the coupon type shopper, the low income, people on disabilities, anyone! Saving 1/3 off my RX - I purchase a very expensive hair spray I wanted while I waited for the RX to be fi lled. The money I saved with my RX card gave me an incentive to buy an expensive hairspray I wouldn’t have normally purchased! The Prescription Card is worth using! Thank you Chamber!” Submit Your Nominations for the 2010 Annual Awards Banquet Business of the Year Award- this award is intended again this year, although the date is still pending.
