If he has graduated, please send us his permanent address to update our records. Thank you. QC Building Corporation P.O. Box 41781 Des Moines, IA 50311 Address Service Requested Maintaining the Same Great Brotherhood Active Chapter Enjoys Virtual and Distanced Events L ast fall, the brothers of Theta Chi main- tained our high academic standards with an overall GPA of 3.31, which put us above the all-men's and all-IFC averages, as well as third place among all fraternities. Although Drake went virtual the week of our philanthropy event supporting the USO, we adapted with a successful virtual auction and t-shirt sale, raising $1,334. We look forward to our annual fundraiser for the James Arthur Albert Foundation this spring. We are proud to have initiated 17 new mem- bers into our chapter this fall—the most of any fraternity on campus. These members have already shown great promise through their drive for informal recruitment, interest in leadership roles, and willingness to help at any event we're having. We already have three pledges who have signed their bids and are on track to extend three to four more bids before recruitment week even starts. We are excited to have elected our new execu- tive council at the end of last semester. We are also proud of Jake Lamont '22fo r being elected executive vice president of IFC and Evan Del Carmen '22 for being elected vice president of recruitment for IFC. While navigating the necessary COVID-19 restrictions, we have still found ways to connect as brothers and with other organizations. We hosted many brotherhood events, including paintball, Hot Ones Challenge, and Shark Tank. We did a river cleanup with Delta Gamma and are planning more community service events with Delta Gamma and Alpha Phi this semester. Brothers made the most of their "spring break" by playing bags in a snowstorm. But did you know that you can support our fraternity by doing so? If you haven't heard, AmazonSmile is a service through which Amazon makes a small contribution to the charity of your choice with every purchase you make—at no cost to you. To set this up, follow the instructions on your Amazon account and choose "Theta Chi at Drake University Helping Hand Foundation" as your charity. Every cent counts! We are excited for the year to come. Although Relays won't be normal this year, we hope to see you all virtually for our networking event and encourage you to stop by the chapter house any time you are in the Des Moines area—with a mask, of course! Love and Respect, Will Krane '22, President william.krane@drake.edu A group of brothers safely made it out to Colorado this year for our annual ski trip at Winter Park.
