Fayetteville is a city of innovation, character and ingenuity
- the Athens of the Ozarks. It has been named one of the
country's best places to live and one of the 10 best college
towns in the United States. It is home to the University of
Arkansas' flagship campus, which serves over 26,000 students
who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate and professional
degrees. Equally impressive is its growing reputation for
serving as the launching pad for new businesses and business
leaders of tomorrow.
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce created leadership
programs to enhance the talents of local businessmen and
women as well as to help nurture and launch the careers of
teens interested in pursuing a career in business. We reached
out to eight talented individuals from the community, four
graduates of the Leadership Fayetteville Program and four
graduates of the Teen Leadership 'X'perience and asked them
why they believe Fayetteville is an ideal place to do business, to
live, to play and to learn.
