Delor said the impact is evident in
his department, which was created
in May 2018 and has grown from one
to seven employees in less than three
years. Last year, its sales surpassed
$60 million.
"It is a difficult situation for
homebuyers," he said. "Homes are
going fast, and it has been quite the
challenge. ere are a lot of people
wanting to find a home while home
values increase rapidly throughout
the county."
"We are trying to expand and
increase the services we offer in the
real estate area," Howard said. "We
want to be a one-stop shop whether
you are buying or selling a house,
just to make it more convenient."
Delor said extending those services
in Middle Tennessee is also a
priority. He recommends buyers
get pre-qualified for a home loan to
be more competitive in the current
housing market.
