CHI THROUGH THE YEARS
F
rom our founding in 1922 to the present, Chi Chapter has fostered a rich history at
Pittsburg State. Our beginnings started with our founders' desire to find a home and
community on campus. Now, almost 100 years later, these values are still alive, and our
strong sisterhood is the cornerstone of the community we have built through Tri Sigma.
Although the chapter looks much different today than it did in 1922, Chi is committed
to its past, present, and future. Today, Chi's membership has exceeded 80 women.
The chapter is filled with leaders, trailblazers, award winners, volunteers, and more.
This strength today was born from the women who boldly founded our chapter, from
the women who continued the legacy, from every member who has proudly worn our
letters, and most importantly, from you.
As Tri Sigma has taught us, every member plays an important part in our sisterhood.
The following pages detail our vision for the future of Chi Chapter. It is our collective
responsibility to provide future members a safe, competitive, and quality home at
Pitt State. This dream will allow Chi to continue touching lives in the same way it
touched yours.
