BY JAY BOBBIN Nobody still puts Baby in a corner: "Dirty Dancing" – which HBO shows Wednesday, Feb. 17 – was one of the movie sensations of 1987, yielding several hit songs as well as a television series and a stage tour. It also elevated Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, who both had been kicking around Hollywood for a while, to major stardom. The love story of their characters Johnny and Baby, who become a dance team at a Catskills resort, adds a substantial boost to the 1960s setting of the tale. The fine cast also includes Cynthia Rhodes, Jerry Orbach and Jack Weston, but Swayze (who had his own music hit from the film, "She's Like the Wind") and Grey were the ones who set hearts a-flutter. As the theme song promised, this gave many a moviegoer the time of their life. 'Dirty Dancing' remains good, (relatively) clean fun "Movie: Tentacles" In honor of Valentine's Day, horror masters Blumhouse Productions comes forth with this feature length thriller about a couple (Dana Drori, "High Fidelity," and newcomer Casey Diedrick) who fall head over heels for each other, entwining their lives, but soon discover their newfound intimacy has transformed into something terrifying. (ORIGINAL) "Movie: The Map of Tiny Perfect Things" A teen (Kyle Allen) contentedly living in a time loop meets a mysterious girl (Kathryn Newton) stuck in the same loop, and together they set out to find all the tiny things that make that day perfect. Josh Hamilton and Al Madrigal also star in director Ian Samuels' ("Sierra Burgess Is a Loser") 2020 romantic fantasy. "The Crew" Kevin James heads the cast of this comedy series that has him in the role of a NASCAR crew chief who tries to protect himself and his crew when the team owner steps down and hands the business off to his daughter (Jillian Mueller), who is intent on modernizing the team. Freddie Stroma and Sarah Stiles also star. (ORIGINAL) The STREAM Scene Where all the top choices can be found in one place! "Flora & Ulysses" (Feb. 19) Flora, a 10-year-old comic book fan and avowed cynic, gets a new friend af- ter she rescues a squirrel named Ulysses and discovers he has superpowers that take them on adventures of humorous complications in this comedy from di- rector Lena Khan ("The White Tiger").
