BY GEORGE DICKIE How did you find or decide on your vegetarian guests? I love cooking for friends and family and I appreciate company in the kitchen. For the show, each episode I invite a guest who shares my passion for good food and conversation. It was a great opportunity to catch up with pals like Liv Tyler. I got to try out my brand new recipe on her while we relaxed and had a moment to catch up together. Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie live in L.A. and I'm in London but we didn't let that get in the way. We had a really fun virtual brunch over FaceTime. I sent them the recipe for my homemade granola breakfast bowl served with coconut lime yogurt and fresh minted berries and Cameron showed us how to make her spritzer – using her Avaline Rose (wine). We had a great time. What are your favorite go-to vegetarian dishes? I like my go-to dishes to be quick, easy, satisfying and nutritious – things like soups, tacos, noodle stir fries and veggie burgers with all the trimmings. On the "Easy Entertaining" episode I had a FaceTime to have a cook-along with Kate Hudson to make my maple vodka grilled peaches with fresh tarragon. I came up with it inspired by her King Street Vodka. What do you think is the biggest misconception about vegetarian cuisine? The biggest misconception about vegetarian cuisine may be that it is time consuming and calls for lots of ingredients. For that reason, I make sure my recipes are straight-forward, delicious and packed with nutrients.
