As it did then, the game ba- sically stays the same, but with the famous contestants expect- edly playing for the respective charities they've chosen. A : Though he had made sev- eral "Saturday Night Live" guest-host appearances, "E/R" (co-starring George Clooney, also of a later "ER") became the first series of Gould's own in the mid-1980s. Soon after that, he starred in the short- lived "Together We Stand," and he recurred on "Friends" as Ross and Monica's father. Gould co-starred on "Baby Bob" as the title character's grandfather in the early 2000s, and he lent his voice to the an- imated "Kim Possible" (as Mr. Stoppable) around the same time. The next sustained series role for Gould came with "Ray Donovan," and during that pe- riod, he also played comedian John Mulaney's neighbor on the sitcom "Mulaney." Most recently, Gould had single-sea- son runs on two CBS shows, "Doubt" and "9JKL," but he also has guest-starred lately on shows including "The Komin- sky Method" and "Grace and Frankie."
