THE FIRST 130 YEARS S ince our founding in 1890, the Beta Omicron Chapter has been the defining experience for more than 1,600 brothers at Cornell University. Many of our alumni have graduated and gone on to successful and distinguished careers, all the while maintaining the lifelong bonds of brotherhood. Beta Omicron Delts are always there for each other in the best and worst times, for the highest of heights and lowest of lows—and each time we are reunited, no matter how long it has been, no matter what form it takes, it feels like yesterday. Almost all of us can trace the roots of our success to the same place: the Delt Shelter. Our Shelter was the focus of our Delt undergraduate life. It has been home for hundreds of young men where our brothers have learned and lived the values of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power and built bonds to last a lifetime. However, for Delta Tau Delta to remain competitive at Cornell, we must ensure we are providing a modern, attractive, and competitive facility. In the following pages, you will find Beta Omicron's strategic plan to ensure Delta Tau Delta is the recognized standard of excellence among all fraternities at Cornell. Spring Weekend 1967 110 Edgemore Lane "Many of my best long-term friendships began at the Delt house at Cornell. A core group of us have stayed in touch and gotten together regularly for decades. Until now, the chapter has never asked us for anything, but after 55 years of heavy use the need for serious renovation of the Shelter is obvious, and I'm happy to help out." -Bill Cochran '70
