Food Program Changes Mean More May Be Eligible

The Food and Nutrition Services Program, formerly known as Food Stamps, is a federally funded program designed to end hunger. The so they may purchase food. All required documents, including the applicant’s picture ID, is scanned into the computer at the time of the application and returned to them. The application is registered and the processing time frame begins, which is normally around 30 days. Individuals may apply at the Department of Social Services located at and the caseworker will provide a more detailed list of any other items that are required.
