Locate Attend Refer Donate Share Provide Volunteer T he Alpha Delta Chapter ended the fall 2020 semester on a high note, and we are so excited for spring semester with our sisters! Although last semester was com- pletely different, we still hosted safe events celebrating our sisterhood and philanthropic efforts, all while working hard academically. In the fall, we welcomed home 122 new Phis thanks to the efforts of our spectacular recruitment team. Alpha Delta is proud to announce, despite a different form of classes, that our semester GPA was 3.68. We are so proud of all of our sisters who work so hard to achieve their academic goals! PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVORS Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Alpha Delta was unable to host our 10th annual Bonnamu in April. However, we still raised $2,700 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We are excited for Bonnamu this spring as our new philanthropy chairman, Olivia Rychlak '19, is already busy plan- ning a new way to adapt the event this year. We cannot wait to see everyone support this incredible event whether it is in person or virtual! In addition, Phi Mu raised $1,800 for the Equal Justice Initiative with the help of other Panhellenic organizations on campus. In the fall, we hosted our annual event, Milkshakes for Miracles. Instead of serving milkshakes at the house, Phi Mu hosted a milkshake mak- ing competition where Panhellenic chapters on the Ole Miss campus competed to create the most original, delicious, and attractive shake! Phi Mu also participated in a fun- draiser for Le Bonheur's Virtual Pumpkin Run. Our philanthropy events raised $18,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Thanks to the hard work of Isabella Smith '18, last year's philanthropy chairman, we raised just short of $30,000 for the kids in 2020! UNBREAKABLE SISTERHOOD Even in this difficult time, we found ways to bond with our sisters. Recruitment this year looked very different, but we still made the new Phis feel at home through numerous vir- tual sisterhood events and virtual Phi classes. Sisterhood events included Zoom yoga and Zoom cooking classes. It was such a great way to get involved while staying safe. The Alpha Delta Chapter is forever grateful for the support of our incredible sisters, alum- nae, and House Corporation. You are making such a positive impact on our Chapter, and we are so thankful! Alpha Delta is looking forward to another fun and successful semes- ter with our sisters!
