Salome, AZ - Welcome 2021, please don't have any worldwide chal- lenges for all of us to endure as we had throughout 2020. The new year has brought with it the promise vac- cines to protect us from this nasty virus that's held us all in a strangle- hold for the past ten months. I just hope my opportunity for the vaccine is soon, I'm so tired of all this mask wearing, hand washing and social distanc- ing. Yes, I know, we must continue to maintain our vigilance even after receiving our vaccinations, but let all of us get in line, masked up and six feet apart of course, and roll up our sleeve for the life changing vac- cine. Soon after we can then return to a semblance of our former lives. DECEMBER MEETING: At our last meeting members voted to approved our 2021 Budget that included grant awards to the following recipients: Lewis' Place Cat Shelter, Tri-Valley Medical Association, Friends of Cen- tennial Public Library, Wenden Ele- mentary School Library, and HOBY (Hugh O'Brien Youth leadership).
