Sales Conducted by Brown's Auction Service TOM BROWN-AUCTIONEER 307-247-4119 AUCTION Evictions extended Coronavirus update January 5, 2021- There are a to- tal of 567,474 confi rmed cases of coronavirus in Arizona and 9,317 coronavirus-related deaths according to AZDHS Tuesday morning. 5,932 NEW cases were reported on Tuesday morning with 253 NEW deaths. This is the highest number of deaths reported by AZDHS. Please note that these are not deaths in a 24 hour period. AZDHS reports, "of the 253 deaths being reported today, 215 are due to the death certifi cate match- ing process." La Paz County Health Depart- ment reports a total of 1,635 total cases with 35 total deaths in the county. 14 NEW CASES with 0 new deaths reported Tuesday. Case numbers are ONLY Ari- zona residents, NOT out-of-state visitors. No matter where a #CO- VID19 test is conducted, positive cases are announced AND counted where the person lives (county of residence.) Please do your part and stay home when you do not feel well! If you are experiencing a change in how you feel and get tested, please stay home until you receive the test results. • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. Consider wearing cloth face coverings, if it can be safely managed, in public settings where other physi- cal distancing measures are diffi cult to maintain. Section 502 of Title V of Division N of that Act extends the expiration date of the CDC Order titled, "Tem- porary Halt in Residential Evictions to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19" (85 Fed. Reg. 55292, September 4, 2020). The new expiration date is January 31, 2021 unless extended, modifi ed, or rescinded. Section 502 does not make any changes to the September 4, 2020 CDC Order other than to extend its expiration date. The Order tempo- rarily halts residential evictions of covered persons for nonpayment of rent during September 4, 2020, through January 31, 2021. This means that a landlord, owner of a residential property, or other per- son with a legal right to pursue an eviction or a possessory action can- not evict for nonpayment of rent any covered person from any residential property in any U.S. state or U.S. territory where the Order applies.
