BY GEORGE DICKIE How was it doing scenes with a pro like new co-star James Purefoy in Season 2 of "Pennyworth"? It was great. You know, Bruno Heller, the showrunner, has worked with him before and he sort of reassured us all that he's a great character. I mean, he came in, he watched the whole of Season 1 in a day or two, so he came in fanboying over it ... which was nice. And he's a very, very clever actor. He knows exactly what the camera picks up and he taught me a lot. He has great suggestions about the script. None of it is ego-driven. It's all about the story and he would take stuff out that his own character had in there and stuff. He would strip it all away and get it just down to the bare minimum, treating the audience with a lot of respect. And yeah, I learned loads from him. He's brilliant. You did a couple of Comic-Cons with "Pennyworth" How did you like them? Yeah, we did San Diego and then we did London, yeah. It was just getting going. I love them. I think they're great. They're so much fun and it's great to see everybody. You know, the show's probably bigger in the U.S. than it is in the U.K. and it's really nice for us to see that it's reaching people and people appreciate it. And it's a shame – I mean, we'll do them again I'm sure – but we were just getting going. I'd love to do more, yeah.
