THETA OMEGA page 3 Catching Up with Alumna Ashley Frantz '16 H ello, my name is Ashley and I am a recent alumna of Theta Omega Chapter. Since graduating this past May, I have moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I am a sales and marketing representative for Milwaukee Tools. Tri Delta will always hold a special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to return to the beautiful home I hold so dear. Beyond the socials and serenades, this chapter has given me so many invaluable skills that I use on a day-to-day basis. From the various leadership positions I held while a collegiate member, I learned the power that organization, adaptability, and compassion can have in both my personal and professional life. During these uncertain times, it has been incredible to watch the amazing young women of this chapter adapt to their current situation and maintain such a strong sisterhood. ASHLEY'S FAVORITE THETA OMEGA EVENT: Old Maid WHAT ASHLEY WILL MISS MOST ABOUT TRI DELTA: Watching movies in social and Chef Mark's desserts. ASHLEY'S ADVICE TO ACTIVE SISTERS: LIVE IN FOR TWO YEARS! I made so many amazing friendships with women in both the pledge classes above and below me because I lived in the Chapter House during both my sophomore and junior years. She has come up with new and exciting ways to welcome our new members virtually while still upholding these honored rituals. Maci explained that the Executive Office has been very helpful, giving her tools to successfully complete these events. Secretary Jolie Barnhart '19 noted that we have provided multiple sessions for events to keep the number of women in attendance below the CDC guidelines. Vice President of Chapter Development Grace Schilling '17 has been one of our chapter's strongest leaders this semester! She has been so creative in planning sisterhood events that follow CDC guidelines while still providing fun bonding activities. From outdoor movie nights to Zoom call cookie decorating parties, Grace has been working hard all semester. Because of her hard work, she has been chosen by the chapter as the Theta Omega Sarah Ida Shaw Award nominee. Congratulations, Grace! Loyally, Evan Svetlak '18 Vice President of Administration
