The Squirrel's Nest
This fall we have hosted coffee tabs at Monarch
Coffee and Heritage House Coffee Shop! This
is a great way for members to get off campus
and hang out with fellow members, as well as
benefit local Tuscaloosa businesses during this
time. Although our regular post-chapter snacks
have not been possible due to CDC regulations,
we have provided members with a snack to
take home and enjoy while participating in
chapter. The Membership Experience team has
contacted each individual member and stays
in touch to ensure the health and well-being
of everyone. We are also looking forward and
planning care packages, as well as more tabs
and socially distanced events to hopefully occur
in the near future.
After having a 99.7% return rate after Open
House, Psi Chapter went on to have a record
Recruitment year. Psi Chapter pledged 112
New Members, and collectively they had a 4.12
overall GPA.
Even though this year has just begun, we
have already accomplished so much. Brina
Harden '20, a freshman from Madison, Ala.,
was elected as FYC Speaker. The following 14
freshmen were selected to First Year Council,
which is the freshman representation within the
Student Government Association:

Several older members of Alpha Gam were
appointed to leadership positions within SGA.
We are so excited to have four Alpha Gams
representing the University of Alabama as
Capstone Women. These are just some of
the many accomplishments Alpha Gam has
achieved this year, and we are so proud of all
of our members.
While we have had to adjust to a different
reality, we are so grateful for the time we have
on campus. We have all grown together and
stayed connected during this unusual time. We
are so proud of our membership and cannot
wait to see what they continue to accomplish.
We are looking forward to a strong finish in the
fall semester!
